This is the fourth book in the South African set for children ages three to nine. This volume provides the history of modern South Africa, its people and their innovations.

About these Books

The South African set starts with book 1, Zola Discovers South Africa, an overview of the country as a whole. Each of the next three books explores a time period of South African history, giving the child the history of that time period and focusing on human needs in order of hierarchy.

Book 2, Zola Discovers South Africa's Beginnings, focuses on the need for food, shelter, and defense.

Book 3, Zola Discovers South Africa's Teen Years, focuses on the ability to work together to solve conflicts and to develop workable rules and government.

Book 4, Zola Discovers South Africa's Innovation, focuses on the need for art, culture, and innovation.
