Discover with this calendar, the world's longest open-air gallery and experience an important part of the history of Berlin.The East Side Gallery is located at the Muehlenstraße in Berlin - Friedrichshain between Oberbaumbrücke and Ostbahnhof along the river Spree. This river was the actual border at this point.
After opening of the Berlin Wall this section has been painted by 118 artists from 21 countries on a length of about 1.3 km.
The paintings were created on the former East Berlin side of the wall and are still a document of the political changes of 1989/90 and will never lose its importance.
