Von 2004 bis 2009 war er Generaldirektor des World Wildlife Fund; heute ist er Dozent für Klima- und Zukunftsfragen an der renommierten Norwegischen Business School in Oslo .Der Club of Rome ist ein Zusammenschluss von Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Wissenschaft, Kultur und Wirtschaft.
