Often, the very act of comparing religions exposes them to an assessment of their role in history and politics, and risks leading to some sort of grading and ranking, which is highly unproductive. He is the co-editor of Beyond the Death of God: Religion in 21st Century International Politics (forthcoming). Uzma Ashraf Barton is Co-founder of the interfaith organization, Bridging Gaps, Hong Kong. She is the author of Rethinking Regulation of International Finance: Law, Policy and Institutions (2016).
