Gabra, GawdatGawdat Gabra is the former director of the Coptic Museum, emeritus clinical professor of Coptic Studies at Claremont Graduate University, California, and chief editor of the St. Mark Foundation for Coptic History Studies. He has authored or edited numerous books on the history and culture of Egyptian Christianity, including The History and Religious Heritage of Old Cairo (AUC Press, 2011) and Coptic Civilization: Two Thousand Years of Christianity in Egypt (AUC Press, 2014).
