[Prayer as Christian Being]What is the meaning of "prayer" in Barth's theology? It is an anthropological basis in Barth's theology to express the divine correspondence between God's work and man's work. The theological reconstruction of Barth's conception of prayer shows indeed that the development of this conception reflects the development of his conception of the correspondence between God and man. In the debate about the terms analogia entis and analogia fidei and in view of analogical speech the concept of prayer plays such a decisive role for Barth that the tension between God's and man's work remains unsolved without a clarification of Barth's understanding of prayer.
