Dr Dalai Tang graduated from the Hannan University (Osaka, Japan) with bachelor's degrees in management information. He then obtained his master's and doctor's degree at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan. He is currently a lecturer of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and economics. Research interests include smart space, Internet of things, smart home, etc. Applied research includes intelligent elderly care, intelligent animal husbandry, intelligent agriculture, etc. Before his current position, he was a visiting scholar of the school of computing, the University of Portsmouth, UK. Senior engineer of Transcosmos Information Creative Japan Inc. As an early career researcher, he has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and editorial volumes in his interested research area. He had organized a few special sessions and workshops at MOBILWARE 2020-2021, ICRA 2019. Reviewer of conference papers in IROS,ICRA,ICRRI and related fields.

 

Dr Joni Zhong graduated from the South China University of Technology (Guangzhou, China) with double bachelor's degrees in control science and computer science. He then obtained his MPhil at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and PhD at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Before returning to PolyU, he had been a researcher at the University of Hertfordshire (UK), the University of Plymouth (UK), Waseda University (Japan), the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (Japan), etc, where he established close interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers in neuroscience, cognitive sciences and philosophy from the EU, Japan and the UK. Dr Zhong had received a 3-year Marie-Curie fellowship for his PhD study. He had also received such awards as the Best Student Paper at ICANN 2011, the Best Theory Paper at ICMIC 2017 and the Best Paper Nomination at Cyber 2019.
