Focussing on the Schaeffer case the inspector is not too interested when Daniel Sands is hauled into Charing Cross police station, accused of a kidnapping. Then he discovers Sands' backstory and finds himself propelled forward in a quest for justice for two fathers and their destroyed families.
And then there is the case of the severed head placed on a railing by the Thames...
