Autoren-Porträt von Scott Berkun
Scott Berkun studierte Informatik, Philosophie und Design an der Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Von Microsoft 1994 als Usability Engineer eingestellt, arbeitete er unter anderem an Microsoft Office und Visual Basic. 1995 wurde er Programm-Manager des Internet Explorer-Projekts und leitete dabei das Design und die Entwicklung vieler Haupteigenschaften des Browsers. Nach Fertigstellung der Version 5.0 arbeitete er als leitender Programm-Manager der Windows- und MSN-Entwicklungsteams.
