Manjuri Neogi is a freelance poet and photographer. She was born and brought up in Shillong , hill station in North East of India. This place inspired her , since childhood to write poems on nature. Thoughts on human emotions woven in poetic form came naturally to her. She is also a good photographer and she uses this medium to express her creativity.She has done M.Phil in Philosophy from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has been a Gold Medallist from North Eastern Hill University in B.A (Literature) and M.A (Philosophy).
