We all hurt, struggle, get reminded of our shortcomings/past , have trouble with loving ourselves and even others wholly. I write to express myself when I cant get it out any other way. These poems are me, my thoughts, real and true. If there is one thing I ask you to take away from this book its to know you are not alone in how you feel. Whatever it is you do put it out there it may help someone. However it is that you came across my book. I am appreciative of your support.

Tyraina Walker was born and raised in New York. She currently lives upstate, where she says "it has been the most freeing transition in my life". Coming from a big family (six) the focus on just one child was hard to do. Growing up in the city, she didn't have much clarity, space to think, or even understand her emotions. Since living here, she's learned so much about herself and what she needs to continue to be the best her. Up until the last four years of her life she began to take writing more seriously as a form of healthy expression. Getting more comfortable with sharing works with friends, family, and new people along the way, it has become clear just how much we are all alike. Now more than ever, she has an urgent need to share it with the world in hopes it'll help the next person.When she's not writing, she is making floral art, spending time outdoors, and working with her favorite people in the world, kids.
