The book further analyzes the specifications of export items on both sides and the dependence of the Czech Republic on Russia in terms of raw materials, which is not sustainable. Veronika Machová is the main investigator, and also the co-investigator of a number of external and internal scientific and pedagogical projects. She is the author of numerous publications, dozens of which are listed in journals with a high impact factor indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.

TomáS Krulický is the Head of the Expertise Department of the School of Expertness and Valuation at the University of Institute of Technology and Business in Ceské Budejovice, Czech Republic. His research deals with the issue of company valuation, valuation of intangible assets, investment decision-making and company finances. TomáS Krulický is the main investigator, and also the co-investigator of a number of external and internal scientific and pedagogical projects, including several projects managed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. He is also the author of numerous publications, many of which are listed in journals with a high impact factor indexed in the renowned world databases Web of Science and Scopus.
