Lourdes Trujillo is a Full Professor of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain. She holds several degrees in Economics and Education including an MBA and a PhD in Economics from 1993. She is amember of Applied Economic Department (DAEA) and she belongs to the Research Group in Economics of Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (EITT).She was director of the Department of Applied Economic (DEA) of the ULPGC from 1997 until its dissolution in 2002 and director of the Department of Applied Economic Analysis (DAEA) of the ULPGC from 2002 until 2007 She is, also, the Director of the Port Maritime Chair (PORMAR) from 2019.Professor Trujillo has consulted for the Canary Islands Regional Government, Spanish Government, the European Commission, the OECD, the African Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank, in addition to several national and international companies.Her areas of specialization include pricing theory, efficiency measurement, demand forecasting and regulatory design for infrastructure industries, also Climate Change and Sustainability. She works basically in Maritime Transport sector. She has publisheda large number or articles in prestigious Journals and chapters of books in renowned Editorials.
Dr. Enrique Rosales-Asensio Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Technologies with a postgraduate education in electrical engineering (MPhil awarded by UNED), business administration (MBA awarded by the University of Alcalá), and management systems (MSc awarded by the University of the Balearic Islands). Dr Rosales-Asensio obtained a favourable resolution from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA by its acronym in Spanish) to be habilitated as a lecturer. With regard to his research activity, he has published 35 scientific articles in journals indexed in the JCR (all of them Q1/Q2); he has been PI of a regional R&D&I project with a competitive call; he has supervised a doctoral thesis in which relevant contributions were generated; he accredits 5 relevant ublications in collaboration with researchers belonging to foreign research centres of recognised prestige; he accredits a 12-month international mobility supported by verifiable results; has participated, as associate editor, in the editorial committees of five journals indexed in the JCR; shows regular activity in the evaluation of articles for journals indexed in the JCR; has authored 12 book chapters that include the results of scientific or technological research; has contributed to 10 research conferences with relative quality indexes; and has edited 7 international books and 12 special issues of journals indexed in the JCR.
