The book presents the results of studies on selected problems (such as predictive model of transcription initiation and termination, protein recognition codes, protein structure prediction, feature selection for disease prediction, information retrieval from medical imaging) of Bioinformatics and Information Retrieval. Saikat Gochhait teaches at Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management, Symbiosis International Deemed University Pune, India. He is Ph.D and Post-Doctoral Fellow from the UEx, Spain. He was Awarded DITA and MOFA Fellowship in 2017 and 2018. He is an IEEE member. His latest publication is Digital Entertainment: The Next Evolution in Service Sector (2021, Palgrave Macmillan).
