His clinical interests are in Renal (live donor) Transplantation, rare kidney disease and pregnancy in patients with CKD. He runs a research programme in Obstetric renal disease. He has led the development of the first adult Centre for Rare Diseases in the UK, sited in Birmingham which opened in 2016.
