Multifunctional Lightweight Structures (PDF)

More than ever, future developments in technologies and products will be judged by the extent to which they improve resource efficiency and take effective climate and environmental protection into account. Germany is seeing great innovative and growth potential for key interacting technologies in the area of multifunctional lightweight structures. This book presents select research findings for new combinations of technology that have been developed by Germany's first Federal Cluster of Excellence in the field of lightweight structures (MERGE).
