This is my third book of rhyming poetry and has more ballads and longer poems. Most of the poems with peoples names are either written for them or inspired by the people in them. For the record: To all the ladies named "Jane" that I have known, the poem "Worm Larder Jane" was not written about you. Some of the poems are inspired by events, either good or bad, that I have gone through, hence the title.

I live in Porirua, New Zealand and work in another city as an electronic technician. I have enjoyed rhyming poetry since I was a young boy when my mum used to recite rhyming poetry to me that she had learned at school. I enjoy walking and running on all the seaside and bush trails here in Porirua and the surrounding cities. My favourite place to run is on the beach which thankfully New Zealand has plenty of. I belong to the Aurora Harrier club and have also joined a horticultural society with the aim of being an amazing gardener like my mum and dad were - I have a long way to go but I enjoy it none-the-less.
