This book examines the Hong Kong Mongkok Riot (MKR) of 2016 to offer a clear and objective account of the events as they unfolded, to dispel the myths, and to explore what can be learned from it. Kam C. Wong is Associate Professor (Emeritus) in the Department of Criminal Justice at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Fellow at the Center for Criminology at Hong Kong University. He is a former Inspector in the Hong Kong Police Force, a former columnist on law and order issues in Hong Kong, and he has published over 100 articles and 12 books.
