The book covers the recent developments in various aspects of minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and robotic surgery), which is fairly a new branch of surgery that has advanced tremendously in last few years. Dr Priya Hazrah, (MS, Fellowship Oncology, FMAS, DipMAS) graduated from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, India. She further pursued training in surgical oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India. Currently, she is working as Professor in the department of surgery, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi under the ministry of health and family welfare government of India and affiliated with the University of Delhi. With a keen interest to consolidate her training in minimal access surgery she completed her diploma in minimal access surgery (HPB surgery) from the college of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI).
