Prof.(Dr.) Arpan Kumar Kar, is Associate Professor of the Information Systems area in DMS, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has extensive experience in teaching, training, consultancy and research. He has published over 120 high impact articles, 6 books and has over a thousand citations for his research. He is member in multiple Advisory Committees of Central Government Ministries and Universities. Before joining IIT Delhi, he has earlier taught in IIM Rohtak as Assistant Professor(v). Prior to joining academics, he has worked in IBM Research Lab and Cognizant Business Consulting. He has done is Ph.D. from McMaster University, Hamilton,Canada in 1976 and completed his MS [Elec and Comp Sci] from Univ of California, Berkeley,USA in 1970.
