Kicked off by various drugs, deep depression, sleepless nights, anorexia, countless thoughts and attempts of suicide, and zero self-worth, life no longer held any purpose except to transpose my raw dark emotions onto light paper for everyone to experience after my premature death. Through poetry I recorded how my life transitioned from incredibly depressing and near an injudicious passing to undoubtedly blissful and intriguing. Now in every incredible moment in my life I always smile, look at the scars on the inside of my wrists and think if I would have succeededI would have never lived to enjoy this.

We met in college at Indiana State University and now live happily in sunny La Quinta, California.
