A suite of poems details a diverse week as a substitute teacher and tutor in "Gypsy Canvas". "First Letter" and "Reply Letter", written in Tanka style, recalls the enchantment of early romance.
Three-line poem "Puddles" foreshadows the simple notion of loss.

Her qualifications include Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing) from Victoria University and Master of Teaching (Primary) from The University of Melbourne.
